There's hasn't been a day go by that I haven't tried to improve my skills. I just might be getting better

Nice going Beyond, getting better.
Craig
Thanks Craig, I'm trying and one day I'll get it. Knowing what tools to use and how to use them is a real chore. I just keep on truckin trying this and that. I got a 5x TeleVue Powermate delivered last week from my peeps in Ohio.Woohoo ! can't wait to practice on the moon, I managed 12 seconds dead center on Saturn before it started to drift and once it started drifting it was gone.

As Jim says practice, practice, practice.
Don't give up we all enjoy your work.
Craig
"Give up" what's that, those words aren't in my vocabulary Craig, when your living your life thru the ep. everything else is unimportant. I'm not going anywhere but, my skills will improve.

I keep going in circles. I get better, only to get worser.
My processing is like a whirlpool...
Going down the drain. ;)
But I won't give up either.
I just haven't stumbled on making mine click together just yet.
I just keep trying.
Nice Avatar! :-D
Sonny, I was instructed by lots of astro buddies, that I needed more magnification and eq mount that tracks with 2 axis {GOTO}is best. I found one really affordable a while back and have worked really hard everyday to get an understanding of the equipment. When I captured the video of Saturn, it looked nothing like it does now.

Being Earth bound has a tremendous amount of adversity to image qualities.
Just when you think you have it, you don't really.
But it is fun working toward getting it. :-D ;-)
It'll happen Sonny, you have to fail only to get better. Some data doesn't take as much processing as other, it's all in the Seeing and location in the sky when you shot as to whether it's going to be a limited process. Atmosphere is a bummer, Zenith or at least high in the sky is where you'll collect the best data. But, I'm just a disabled amateur , what do I know. Some nights I can't get anything and others I can shoot all night long. Go figure
