Nikon D 90 Gray screen

I was using my Nikon D 90 today to get some photos of a job I am doing and when I got home to put the photos in my computer I was missing 2 photos and when I try to see the photos on the camera screen it just comes up gray with lighter gray horizontal stripes. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions ? Thank you in advance for help. I put in a fresh battery but that did not help.

Sounds like your going to have to send your camera in for some repairs.

Bret, I like your new avatar, but that shirt isn't going to let you sneak up on anyone. :D

I have one but brighter. Love it. Easy to spot you in a large crowd.

I had a D90 that developed view screen problems as you described. It was still under warranty and had to go to Nikon for repair.

What is your shutter count? Could be starting to fail.

I guess I'll call Nikon and see what they have to say. I'm not the original owner so I guess it will cost me but I really like the camera so it's worth it.
