I've never seen a photo of a fish (in his/her habitat) on this forum. Here's one that's a little weird.

That is weird! Could you give some background on how you shot that? Nice shot, but what exactly are the fish swimming in?

I was walking on a pier (taking photos of ospreys overhead) when I looked down. Tiny fish (my husband calls them "bait fish") are swimming around one of the poles holding up the pier. Tide is low, accentuating the color of the sea grasses the fish are feeding in. Higher tide or different angle of the sun would have changed the whole thing. Thanks for your comments.
