#3 is a rock found and dug on his own land by the person buried there. It is quite picturesque. #1 has quite a story behind it~~~~

the story is that the stone was put up one nite with that inscription and no one knows who did it. Stott's wife left never to be heard from again

no---- but Dr. Cream fled to Canada alone
he did spend 10 yrs in prison in Joliet, then to Canada and on to England where he killed more women and eventually was hanged there. He used strychnine.
Daniel Stott was his only male victim
He claimed to be Jack the Ripper just as the noose was tightened, but the timing wasn't right for that CREEPY!!!

Love these stories. Makes one wonder if they should trust their doctor. I like to spend time in cemeteries looking at stones and wondering about the people's stories. My mother always said I was morbid. The old ghost town cemeteries in the Black Hills are interesting to visit and have some unique stones.
