Went fishing out the Golden Gate yesterday, encountered about 25 whales. This one was one of a group of six that were working in pairs, circiling the bait forcing it into tighter and smaller balls for ease of swimming through to fill their maws. We took advantage to capture this image and a triple hook up on Strippers and 3 Salmon.

Very sweet pic of whale and bridge! But a "triple hook up on strippers"... Isn't there danger in that? :lol: :lol:

Only for the poor hapless fishermen who participated in that three ring circus trying to land a triple hook up with very aggressive and strong 15 plus pound fighting fish!

Kid's balloons are a lot cheaper on the multi-hook "umbrella" striper rigs, and some folks feel that the colors help attract the fish sometimes.
Not much good for the "other use" though.
