I went out to tend to my garden this afternoon and the neighbors turkeys were just thrilled to see me. They followed me allover the garden checking things.

I think I passed their inspections and the food is safe to eat- maybe even the bugs.
:)

Great looking garden Mare. Awe come on you were letting the turkeys eat to fatten them up for dinner in November. Lol

Geese will weed a strawberry patch selectively leaving the broad leaf plants alone. Had an uncle who did this.

A little cooperation! I think the Chinese keep ducks in their gardens to keep the bugs down. And maybe with their rounded bills they are less inclined to eat ripening veggies! Looks like you have a very nice garden!

When I lived in Maine the neighbor's chickens used to wander around my yard - I liked it, because I knew that with all that pecking around they were eating any ticks that might have been lurking!

Fun shots, and great garden, Mare! Nine of them chasing me around this morning, waiting for me to toss them their breakfast, lol. They like sunflower seeds a lot!

Its always fun with animals.. And we never know what to expect from them. I am sure they sit in waiting for you to come out the door.
After all your feeding the best of all..
