Back in 1969 a group of Black Panthers decided that a fellow black panther named Alex Rackley needed to die. Rackley was suspected of disloyalty. Rackley was first tied to a chair. Once safely immobilized, his friends tortured him for hours by, among other things, pouring boiling water on him. When they got tired of torturing Rackley, Black Panther member, Warren Kimbro took Rackley outside and put a bullet in his head. Rackley's body was later found floating in a river about 25 miles north of
New Haven, Connecticut.

Perhaps at this point you're curious as to what happened to these Black Panthers? In 1977, that's only eight years later, only one of the k**lers was still in jail. The shooter, Warren Kimbro, managed to get a scholarship to Harvard and became good friends with none other than Al Gore. He later became an assistant dean at an Eastern Connecticut State College. Isn't that something!!! As a '60s radical you can pump a bullet into someone's head and a few years later, in the same state, you can become an assistant college dean! Only in America!!!

Erica Huggins was the woman who served the Panthers by boiling the water for Mr. Rackley's torture. Some years later Ms. Huggins was elected to a California School Board. How in the world do you think these k**lers got off so easily? Maybe it was in some part due to the efforts of two people who came to the defense of the Panthers. These two people actually went so far as to shut down Yale University with demonstrations in defense of the accused Black Panthers during their trial. One of these people was none other than Bill Lan Lee. Mr. Lee, or Mr. Lan Lee, as the case may be, isn't a college dean. He isn't a member of a California School Board. He is now head of the United States Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, appointed by none other than Bill Clinton.

O.K., so who was the other Panther defender? Is this other notable Panther defender now a school board member? Is this other Panther apologist now an assistant college dean? No, neither! The other Panther defender was, like Lee, a radical law student at Yale University at the time.

She is, now, known as The "smartest woman in the world." She is none other than the former Democratic senator from the State of New York---- our former First Lady, and the Secretary of State, the incredible Hillary Rodham Clinton.

And now, as Paul Harvey said; "You know the rest of the story".

This must have come from FAUX-TV. For "the rest of the story": (from SNOPES.COM) :

The above-quoted article also asks "How in the world do you think that these k**lers got off so easy? Well, maybe it was in some part due to the efforts of two people who came to the defense of the Panthers." But neither Bill Lee nor Hillary Clinton "defended" the Panthers, either in a public or a legal sense. Bill Lee wasn't a lawyer, or even a law student; he was simply another Yale undergraduate who had no involvement in the Black Panthers' trial. Hillary Rodham (as she was known then) wasn't a lawyer then, either: She was a Yale law student, and like many of her politically-minded fellow law students who saw the latest "trial of the century" taking place just outside the main gate of their school, she took advantage of an opportunity to be involved in the case in a minor, peripheral way by organizing other students to help the American Civil Liberties Union monitor the trials for civil rights violations. Her tangential participation in the trial in no way helped "free" Black Panthers tried for the murder of Alex Rackley

In fact, the k**lers of Alex Rackley didn't "go free": Lonnie McLucas was was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder and sentenced to twelve to fifteen years in prison, and Warren Kimbro and George Sams turned state's evidence and pleaded guilty to second degree murder, serving four years in prison. Bobby Seale and Ericka Huggins (who were accused not of k*****g Rackley, but of being present during his captivity and boiling water to torture him with) went free not due to any efforts on the part of Hillary Clinton or Bill Lee, but because the state failed to sufficiently prove its case against them: the jury deadlocked in favor of acquittal for both defendants, and the trial judge dismissed the charges against both of them. And, of course, neither Hillary Clinton nor Bill Lee had anything to do with the post-trial lives of Seale and Huggins.

He's most likely not clever enough to actually WRITE something like that - he merely passes along the nonsense he gets from being on nutjob right-wing email lists.

I have problems being a big fan of Hillary Clinton, just like I have specific problems with many candidates, but I don't need or want lies about any candidate to support any position I may take. This type of thing is nasty, unfair, and un-American. He should be ashamed.

Actually, it would be libel and not slander.

Right. The way I remember the difference is that slander is something you say - S and S.

Well, first off, I did not write this, but I did pass it on. I thought is was from a very reliable source. My apologies for copying this and not verifying. However, I don't trust snopes at all, so not even going there. Second, I don't call you names and don't appreciate you calling me one. You don't like something that is put in print, don't respond to it by calling me a name.
I will be more careful next time before I copy something. The Clintons may not be involved with this, but they are by no means innocent and I wouldn't put anything past them to get elected.

I don't think anybody saying "she did her job" would be telling the t***h... including her. But then that is semantics... if her job is to mislead and pander and gather illegal funds, turn 1g into 100g' by insider trading, lie.. dodge sniper bullets, then yes she has done her job on all these things. You can tell if her lips are moving or she is home at one of her three multi-million dollar mansions. Did you know.... she was broke when they left the Whitehouse?

Thanks for doing the sort of work that the OP should have done. Didn't take very long, did it. But I guess it was just too much work for the OP. I marvel at how many Hoggers, generally of the right-wing persuasion, are happy to post almost ANYTHING without attribution or verifying that the source isn't just another wack-job site. Just because its on the Internet doesn't mean its true.

And of course many folks feel that it Snopes brands a story as untrue, then the fault lies with Snopes.
