Thanks, it probably is a lot easier to pan at the beach then say people or moving vehicles.

Panning is very new to me and I find it difficult maybe easier on a large body of water. I hand held this shot as it was really suppose to be a lets see what we get shot.
So I had to shoot at f22 so that I could get my shutter speed to slow to I think 3-4 secs. The only problem ( well a few actually) my sensor is really dirty! Which you see over f 11 had I gone out a little later or used ND filter I wouldn't have had to close down so much.
Definitely use a tripod next time, and ND filter.
The birds and clouds were a separate shot before panning other wise birds would be blurred.
