Welcome to the forum!! :-D :-D
Welcome to the UHH Forum Frolics, PG! I hope you enjoy the experience as much as I do. As a GI-Bill student at Pratt Institute's School of Advertising Gesign (Class of 1952), I savored Brooklyn when it still harbored the Dodgers...dem Bums!
Welcome Brooklyn, from a former city boy!
What's the best resolution and quality of jpegs for upload. It seems that Uhh doesn't auto downsize. My originals would not go through

PG, at the top of the opening page, beneath the Ugly Hedgehog Photography Forum title, are three lines of underlined activators used to access various functions in the forum. At the right end of the top line is "Help". Please click on that and you should find all the answers to your questions on how to post photos.
I use Picasa 3 for conversion of my scanned images into storage on my hard drive. I then click on that stored image and select "edit in Picasa", then select "export" on Picasa which brings up an options panel on which you can select the size and quality. UHH asks that we post no larger than 640 pixels for size, and a custom quality of 85 jpeg. Select a file in which you want to store the jpeg image and send it for storage. When you want to add the photo to your UHH message, click on one of the three empty boxes beneath the message box. The title of your image will appear at the right of the little box, and you can type in any caption you want inside that box. You can post up to three images like that, and if you'd like to attach more, that is done after clicking "send". For 30 minutes after posting, you can add photos by clicking on " new attachment" under the posted photos. Also during that period you can edit or correct text in your posting. There are probably less complicated ways to do the same functions, but it works for me,

Those are very nice. I have the most trouble with pet photos, mine are in constant motion. Here is the best one I got of my dog Eddie so far, I'm still trying!

These are beautiful Kitten-Captures, PG! They certainly radiate charm, and your excellent technique did a fine job of sharing them with us. I'm happy to see that the gates of UHH have opened for your files, and hope to enjoy more of your work.
