OK, I've seen The Fog, so I know how these things work.
Cluster of 60 daisies, the first 6 were all double headed, AND they bloomed while the 22 June geomagnetic storm was at it's height. All the later blooming flowers were normal.
Had we been further north, these could have been swamp creatures on stems. Be afraid. :shock:
There's another theory that these are mutations caused by aggressive in-breeding and cross breeding to develop new flowers, but I don't believe it. :-D

Since it might be genetics, I want to collect the seeds from the mutants and see if more will grow next year. :)
