I have an ancient (1960s) black and white 21/4 X 3 that I would like to have restored, and enlarged to 4 X 6. Anyone here do that kind of work, or recommend someone who does?
Thanks,

Thanks,
If you scan the image and upload it to the Post Processing Digital Images forum (with store original box checked), several or our restoral editors can show you how well they might be able to improve your photo. High Resolution scan at 300 DPI recommended.
Thank you, Bob. I'll try scanning it, and see how that works.
Happy 4th!
Bob

Me too, I guess, but I never before considered the 60's to be "ancient times"; if they are, does that make the 30's, 40's & 50's "prehistoric"? :(
When our kids were small, they considered any cars that didn't have 'blinkers' (directional signals) to be from the "Olden Days", but now in their 40'd & 50's, they are somewhat less cavalier about aging. :D
To my friends here on UHH, I do offer a photo Restoration service, along with Portrait Enhancement. I've been very successful here in St. Louis. I do this in addition to my Adjunct Physics teaching.
I've received great advice on here over the past year or two. For that reason, if any of you would like Restoration help, I'm more than happy to offer a rate of ONE HALF I normally collect here in St. Louis.

I should have added: It's okay that I post that here on UHH, isn't it?
