Helen from Adorama and Kim from Sigma really stepped up to the Plate. In Short, I needed a lens by the end of April for my son's wedding (no, i just took grab shots for my pleasure. His Photographers were INBELIEVEABLE!!) Helen managed to have the Lens delivered in time for my trip and all was well. I noticed that that the lens I purchased had a rebate for May, I thought, "Oh well!". in June I was I called Sigma on another matter and i mentioned the rebate and my bad timing. Sigma told me to have Adorama contact them to see if something could be done (we are talking about one day). Wow! Adorama is crediting my card fro the rebate.
I have to ad that back in 2006, I purchased a used "Minolta Beer Can" and the salesman convinced me to buy a slightly more expensive used one instead of the one i was eyeing. Tack sharp and smooth operating. I was very pleased he took the time to help me make the right choice.

Went to a business management class one time - the lecturer made the point that many companies fail to remember that it is much easier to KEEP an existing customer than to acquire a new customer. All you have to do is have a good product and good customer service. The major companies that Hoggers praise on this forum - Adorama, B and H, Cameta, and KEH - continue to exemplify this approach. Kudos to them.

I have dealt with Adorama in the past, both in person and on line.
They took good care of me.
I can say the same about Cameta and B&H.
