Hi Lee, very nice post.
One question though, I did take a few pictures of the bridge in Da Nang and there was no dragon. Any idea when the dragon was added or is it a different bridge?

I never even knew the bridge existed until I saw the bridge link on weather.com. How long ago were you in Da Nang? Pleasure, business, military?

I was in Da Nang many times during an 8 year period in VN. Last time in Da Nang about 5 years ago. I would have to dig out the picture I took of that bridge to know exactly.
Mostly just passing thru from Hoi Ann to Hue and v/s.
Da Nang is on the tourist route on Hwy 1. However it is close to Hoi Ann between Hoi Ann and Hue, both are more interesting. The tourist busses do not stop in Da Nang. Nice place though with very nice people.
