3 shots in this group. Shot one is out of focus but adds to the overall flavor of the group. Taken at a local racing facility outside of Winston, MO, this past Sunday afternoon. There is a second car involved that also ended up on his roof. Only thing hurt was a few brand new race cars on their fist appearance of the year and some driver pride!

The driver is in the Casey's uniform
2nd car same fender bender
And last but not least. All of these photos are straight off of the camera.
WOW!!! What a series of photos. Very nice job of capturing the action. Glad no one was hurt.
lot of debri fling great shots. late models are the best part. the one with flying debri would look awsome with out of bounds pp.
What camera and lens were you using; if you don't mind? BTW nice images.

Excellent series of photos Ron. 8-)
Sorry for the delay getting back on. Been out of touch for a few days.
These were shot with a Canon 7d that has about 200K cycles on it and a Sigma 70-200 2.8 that has outlasted 2 previous bodies. It's a real tank.
Wow! Nice work Ron.
I absolutely love the photos. Keep shooting and sharing :)
I do not frequent the car races near enough. The sad part is that I am so close to the track, I can hear the engines all night and the funny cars disrupt my movie nights. Being that close, You would think I would have tickets more often.
Great photos. I saw a sand drag flip like that once. Got it on video not film. The guy walked away from it, sand rail was a total loss. Thanks for sharing. Cheryl
