Very little has started to bloom around here but it was such a beautiful day I decided to walk down to the dry dock and get some shots of the boats. Hope you like them.

Thanks everyone. This dry dock sits out on a point across the bay so every time I'd walk the boardwalk on the bay I could see all these colors...way over yonder. When I got close enough to start taking photos a man waved to me to come on in and walk around...even though there were no trespassing signs and men working. I was so pleased...it made my day.

You must be around St. Ignace, can't wait to see the Star Line, Sheplers, and the Arnold boats whisking people off to the island!! Great shots, looking forward to seeing the Straits this summer!!!

Yea, in St. Ignace. I have to say, tourist trap aspect aside, it is beautiful up here by the water. I hope you enjoy yourself while you're here. I take it you're going to the Island? Everyone has to see the Grand at least once.

Been to the island many times, we stay at Torch Lake each summer, have been for 23 years, my wife has relatives buried on the island, she knows some of the island people, the Garrity and Gallagher stones in the cemetary are all her relatives, we have stayed at every in on the island from the Grand to Mission Point, to the Iroqouis! Love the Straits, the island, love being fudgies!!! Everyone should be getting up to the island about now, so hope they have a great season!!!

Oh that's great. When I have the chance to go over I'm not much into the town/tourist thing...one of my favorite places to head is back off the beaten path toward the cemeteries. It's so beautiful in that area. Have a great and safe summer.
