We have an ice cream parlor, here in my home town, called Screamin Mimis. They are advertising a new flavor, i'm going to HAVE to try,,, Jallepeno, lime............. oh, yummm!!!!! No, i haven't tried it yet, but i will !!!
Some times. But as a rule, I wan't nothing to distract from the icecream. But it has to be real good icecream. I feel the same way about a slice of really good cheesecake.

I am spoiled...I make better at home than I can seem to buy. Of course - it can cost $40 a quart to make...so it is not often.:lol:
I make fresh bing cherry with dark chocolate chips. And - New Orleans Banana Nut ( the pecans are pralined ). And - fresh peach amaretto with toast almond slivers.

When I was growing up, we had a peach tree in our back yard. My mother would make peach ice cream with fresh peaches.
