I must have taken hundreds of shots on these same flowers, but the bee refused to face the right direction, or else I couldn't get focus before he moved. Today I finally got him. Not perfect, but better.

I believe you did it jean! Great job.

Good shot Jean
I understand about that entire patience thing Jean.
Taking lots of shots to get a good one.
Everything must bee inline to get that that money shot. And don’t forget about that wind. About the time you press the shutter release the wind blows and your subject moves back and forth about t inches.
Lots of detail and sharp.
Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you, Sling! Yes, that's it exactly--the wind always kicks up just as I click the shutter. LOL Frustrating hobby, but so satisfying when things work out!

Thanks, Sue. I've had to learn patience when doing my bird photography. Sometimes I'll have to just stand motionless for 20 minutes or so just to let the birds get accustomed to me being there.

Yes, that's true of all the photos on this forum, I think. The photos look nice in the post, but then I click "download," and --whoa! they look so much better!
Thanks so much for your comments!
