This is my first attempt at using the Topaz Glow plugin so I am sure it is a bit over the top.
The theme was inspired by our favorite UHH cat, Martian. He recently paid a visit to Oz and brought back a floral sample. From that same garden came this scene...
It is a composite of an azalea photo and a butterfly photo with a few liberties taken.
Beuatiful. What color is the butterfly when it hasn't been "glowed"?

Thanks for looking. The butterfly is called a paper white which is simply black and white. Thought that would take the effects I wanted to apply the best without additional color bias. Still learning to use this however.

You did a good job. Keep practicing and maybe your flowers will appear in Martian's garden (or at the very least you'll get a pint (half-liter?) of some of that plutonium fertilizer.)

Nice one, Dave! So many fun effects to choose from with that program. I like what you did with this butterfly, very eye-catching. An excellent job for a first attempt! And not a thing wrong with a little over-the-top action, lol. Makes for a big smile!
