So I decided to try out the Lightroom app on my iPad. I went through all the steps, including getting the base Creative Cloud Membership which gets me Photoshop and Lightroom and a bunch of other stuff.
I want to import Raw images directly from my camera to the iPad. This is no problem. They go to the Camera Roll and I can see they are there. Now, when I try to open those files in Lightroom on the my iPad, I cannot find them. Other pictures I have taken and live in the Camera Roll show up, just not the latest imports.
Any thoughts?

I think you need to give LR permission to access your Photo file or your Camera roll. Do this in "settings".
Wish it were that simple. I have already enabled it.
Did you "import" the new files to lr?
You can't. LrMobile in its current design won't read RAW files.
There is a workaround if you shoot RAW+JPEG.
1. Import the JPEG files to iPad and you can add them to LrMobile for editing.
2. Install this plug-in in your desktop Lr.
http://www.beardsworth.co.uk/lightroom/syncomatic/3. When you return home import the RAW files into the folder you created/used in LrMobile.
4. Run the plug-in. It will look for the two identical file names and sync the Lr edits from JPEG to RAW.
