Flickr gps Info

I recently uploaded some pictures to Flickr, and notice that the geotag location information on the photos does not come through. Pictures I loaded a few years ago do have the location info in Flickr, including a nice map. It is a critical element of cloud storage for me so that I can search on "location".

Am I doing something wrong.

Thanks for your help. I looked at the links,and clearly others have had the same problem, and there are some suggested fixes which look promising.
