This picture has problems and I am not sure what to do about them. I wish I could reshoot but thats not an option.

The power of the tree is something I would like to emphisize, but on this shot I am truly lost.

Any sugestions would be helpful and if you would like to give a edit a shot feel free. please post anything you come up with.

I really love this subject, I wish I sawwhat I see now when I was composing it.

I think I would have gone with a wider lens and gotten over the fence in the foreground. The tree is a very interesting subject and different lighting could make it an awesome shot.

In hindsight a wider lens would have been great and better composition would have been awesome too.

Im just trying to save a shot that should have been much more than it is.

OK, well then it seems that while you cannot now go back and photograph this tree in a way that speaks both to its power and grace that at least now you see it....which is no small thing....in fact, its a rather big thing which, if you learn it's lessons has the potential to change the way you perceive......... which is partly what photography is about.

I guess I just didn't make my point clear. I needed a seconed set of eyes to bring out something in the picture. I felt the picture still had potential but was at a loss for a way to convey the moment. your statement was not lost on me.

Thank you Beenaround for a new perspective for me!!!

Played with it just to see what I could come up with. I'm waiting on a new monitor so I'm not sure if what I'm seeing is what you'll see but what the heck........
