It is my first day back after a long illness; my first port of call being to this the PP section where I am dismayed to find internal UHH politics have crept in.
I would like to remind all subscribers of the aims of this section: A section devoted to the art and practice of processing digital images. Discussion of processing techniques for any and all software is encouraged. Questions and examples of your work are welcome. Managed by James Eslinger, Searcher, Bob Yankle.
A clue regarding content of this section is in the title Post Processing Digital Images, it does not read Section for castigating other Sections and Managers.
The thread Address concerns to managers of the PhotoCritiqueSection has also been posted elsewhere so I dont feel bad about deleting it completely.
The thread Who needs elitism? is different. The graphics and ensuing related comments are what this section is all about and indeed are welcome, however, much of this thread should have been posted to Chit Chat or perhaps even the Attic. The thread is locked and hopefully will drift away into oblivion.
Please respect the aims of this section when you post a thread, and please do not take advantage of the freedom of content allowed.

Thank you for those kind words. It feels good to be home again both literally and on the Hog.
I have many, many emails and PMs to respond to, as well as an enormous catch up on the threads. I also have to limit the hours I spend at the keyboard & screen, so it will take a week or so before my addiction to UHH will kick in properly.
Best wishes
James
