...or is it??

I took one tiny piece of this when it was growing in another pot at Home Depot, last year. I planted it in my fairy garden where it is spreading fast!!

Anyone have any clue???

Don't know what it it, but it's very pretty. Just tell Home Depot you'd like to know the identity of the little piece of plant you snitched off them last year. LOL

They weren't selling it, Donna, it was just growing in one of their plants,
like a weed! It is strange looking, with little suction cups!!
I hope I shouldn't be afraid!! Lol..:)

Oh I know that. I was just teasing you. :-D I doubt you have anything to be afraid of unless it's the creature from the black lagoon :-D, and hopefully Mike or Corolyn will see your post. They're both great at identifying plants.

Very cool look.... But I'd check with treepusher to make sure it is not out of Martians garden! Nice shots... Love that single stem!

lol... I didn't realize you were pulling my leg, I thought maybe I didn't make myself too clear.!

No I'm afraid!!! Especially if it came from Martians garden!!
It might be another little shop of horrors plant!!!

What you have here Angela is a thallus (female gametophyte) of Marchantis - a common liverwort. Very cool shots. At Penn State right now for a week of hunting at the national meeting of the Dragonfly Society of the Americas.

Thanks Doc!! I knew you'd be the man with the answers, should I worry about my liver getting worts!!? Lol...
