Blue tint pictures

I took these pictures as slides in the 90's. When I scanned them in they got the blue tint. How can I make them look a little better.

If they do not have this color cast when you look at them, change your scanner.

It they are this way already, use one or the other:
- color levels and adjust the curve per channel (start with the blue then red. Leave the green channel as an anchor)
- Kelvin scale.

It may not be the fault of the scanner. Some scanner software corrects color depending on the type of film used. Check the software you're using for that feature. VueScan has profiles for many films.

Being so far away from my main digital darkroom, where the powerful toys lie, I simply don't have time to do much more than this, as I am using a painfully slow olde PowerBook G4.

Perhaps when I return to L.A., I will fix up the others...

thank you richard, that looks better. Thanks everyone for giving me some ideas. I am sure the heat in the attic didn't help the slides.
