Very pretty blooms and an interesting battle going on the first photo! The greenery of the "weed seed pod" looks like some of what is growing where hubby scattered some wild flower seeds. He did not keep the packaging so we have no idea what flowers to be expecting and having been planted late in the season none have put out any blooms yet. Might your weed be one of my wildflowers? It looks like it is going to have some pretty blooms!

Sherry it had little white flowers. It is a common weed in my garden but I had never noticed the seed pods were so pretty. I had to get down on my belly to get that shot. The wind was blowing so the shot is not as sharp as I would wish but it was a keeper anyway. Thanks for looking in.

Thank you Frodo! I am so glad your day was brighter! I take my coffee and camera to the garden every morning and sometimes make a tour in the evening. The daytime is mostly too hot and muggy to even think of going outside.
