Very nicely done!
I know these are comments heard so many times about such sites, but again, - if walls could talk, - how many little feet ran in and out those doors, - why'd they eventually leave, and what was going through their minds the last time they walked away?
I usually find myself wanting to be able to go in and look around and try to picture what was there.
Sorry . . . Thanks for the posting.

Love your composition - the lower angle to include all that empty sky. Great impact for me.

I don't think there is any need for you to apologize, RS. I think many people feel exactly the way you do. I know I have often wondered presicely what you have stated.

Thanks for looking, & no need to apologize. I'm sure many of us have had the same thoughts.

This is just conjecture on my part, but, from the few of these that I've seen in this area, them seem to be in the middle of what was once a big farm. Probably built in late 1800s, old plumbing, old electrical, Michigan basement (dirt floor, low ceiling), small rooms. Families probably just upgraded & built a new house closer to the main road. They probably left the old one standing because they couldn't bring themselves to tear down the old homestead.
