Wow Swampy looks like that Flicker spent time as a circus performer.... what a delightful pose! And Robins always look so nice with a blue sky.

Appealing series! That flicker is quite the industrious worker.

You have some chubby little birds there, Corky!!
Love them both, but since I've only had a flicker visit my yard once, I really enjoyed viewing yours!!!! :D :D

Glad you liked, Frodo, and the Flicker was really checking the Black Walnut Tree out for insects!

Glad you liked Linda, and as I mentioned to Frodo the Flicker was intently looking for insects on the old Black Walnut tree.

Very glad you liked, Angela and thanks for looking. The Flickers stayed for about a month this late winter/early spring and we see most of the Robins also in the winter/ early spring. Really don't understand why the Robins do not stick around for the summer, because there are plenty of worms in the yard and in our former home about 30 miles west of here, the yard was thick with Robins, spring through fall. Take care and thanks again!

Thanks for looking, Sylvia and very glad you liked. I think he was looking and listening for lunch! That is a very old Black Walnut tree and is riddled with woodpecker holes in some places. Take care!
