I am looking to try and sell some of my photos at some local art shows this summer. I am not sure how many different ones to print and display. I have a few printed large, Matted & framed, I think they look good, but am looking for more opinions. I am thinking these so far.
Antique Bike
Sunflowers
Circus Train
HDR Sunflower
Underpass Graffiti
Underpass Graffiti
Waiting for Cars
Adult Hot wheels
The "Sunflower" is gerrate..... It will be your best seller.......
Thanks Don, Which one? Regular or HDR

All look very well done to me. Great job. 8-)
My only suggestion is to make sure (if you are selling these) is to not having things like your rain gutters in the background (the sunflower shot)..really give some thought to what's in the background even if it's not really in focus...it doesn't help the "art" aspect.
My personal pic is the car.
"Antique Bike", with the top cropped (including some of the handle bars), to eliminate the distracting background, should sell without any problem. If you have already printed, you can alway matt over some of the top when framing. Depending on the size (I love large), I could see me buying that image.
The HDR sunflower is wonderful. It too could use a bit of the top cropped off, to add impact and focus to the subject.
While the two Graffiti images are well done, I wonder about anyone going to "local art shows/fairs" and buying Graffiti? This could be an age thing with me; but, seeing an image that I like, and also buying to hang on my wall, are two completely different things.
Circus Train is the perfect image for a child's room. I can see people buying this for their children or grandchildren. Size and frame with this in mind.
The tighter image "Waiting for Cars", will be a must have for all of those "train nuts" out there. Would be a great framed piece in any model railroad room. . .and there are lots of those out there.
Adult Hot Wheels is certainly a possible sale. There are many folks who are into car stuff, and this is a nice image for the "Man Cave"; however, you might want to rotate the image counter-clockwise to level. Being off of level I think would hurt more possible sales, than help. That potted plant almost looks like it is going to slide over the slick floor and clobber the car! :)
Remember, if you are trying to get someone to buy your art, you should start out by trying to think who your market might be. That will help you put together images that are most likely to be "adopted" by someone with a pocket full of cash.
Good luck. Let us know how you are doing with your images from time to time.

.
Very good tip...I would have never thought of that..
Thank you to all, Some very good tips Mooseeyes, I am grateful for your input. Not sure what you mean about rotating the Lamborghini ? Perhaps you could show me what you mean, I am not great with photoshop element 9, but trying to learn more every day.
Smilling Faces
Most kids love this photo, most say they can see faces in the sunflowers, i wish i knew how to add some eyes, might make for a fun kids photo!

Different crop of original, i think its better?
I had my first craft fair of the season on Saturday. I have 8x10, 5x7, and 4x6 matted photos and prints only also. Something different is being sold at each craft fair I go to. This is the start of my 3rd year doing this. I also do several farmer's markets. Roosters, barns and cow photos sell very well. This last weekend was kitten, bald eagles and cow photos that sold very well. I took photos of a popular drive in that closed in St. Paul ast spring. It is a very good seller for the car cruising clubs. It took til almost the 2nd half of my 2nd year to show a slight profit. Don't be discouraged and keep shooting. Lots of luck.

Thanks for the encouragment, it seem like it will be a fun way to spend a weekend, I am going to set up at a couple of art shows, looking forward to meeting some nice people who share the same interests.

Compare the door trim, etc. on the left edge. Almost a three degree rotation to bring to level, followed by a "squaring" crop.
For some reason, the website is not allowing the images to upload???
