I was out in the backyard waiting for the hummingbirds to show up when this little guy did, but he was a bit confused...he thought the feeder was a flower.

Nice! I've seen 'em get confused like that too...they get it figured out eventually. Love your shots on the flowers, that's one thing I've got to get for mine.

They will figure it out..... They are attracted to the color - one time in the rainforests of Costa Rica someone in our group had a red jacket. They were almost harassed by the hummingbirds!

a compliment to the beauty of your feeder i am sure! very nice BIF shots! I walked out one day and had a bright red shirt on. the hummers went wild flying all around me and looking for the nectar in what appeared to them to be the biggest flower they had ever seen! felt a bit threatened! Lol
