A Day at Sea with open space, balconies & glass.....
Having left the ruins of Glendalough in Ireland.....we had a day at sea before reaching Reykjavik, Iceland. So here's a few shots taken aboard ship as we cruised in the North Atlantic. At times it's just enjoyable to look around & appreciate some of the features that ships offer the eyes. Welcome aboard!! ( I can already tell....this will be at least 12 shots & hopefully will give the feeling of being onboard)

Windows to the sea from inside one of the elevators that is visible from about the 3rd deck all the way up to the 12th. Wonderful views! (3)

Another elevator shot only looking over & down the shaft area. You can see other elevators to the side as we pass each other. (4)

At times it's fun just to sit next to one of these windows & read. (5)

As one gets off these main elevators you can look up & down the center part of the ship where all floors connect. This is looking down on The Centrum or gathering place. (6)

WOW!! Thanks Boone for the great compliment before I could even get everything posted & for all those thumbs up! It did end up being 12 shots & it was fun for me to be onboard once again!!! I think we are at least giving thought to another cruise some one of these days....or at least my wife is due to the brochures that keep arriving in the mail!! Glad you enjoyed the boat ride! Looks like the starship enterprise Bob. Now that's travel
ing in style...nice shots.
An interesting series of photographs with some unusual angles.
Very enjoyable viewing.
Well taken.
Just out of curiosity, how many passengers did your ship hold?
Enjoyed your series very much, Bob! Very interesting compositions and viewpoints, especially since I've never been on a cruise :)
Nice shots of some very interesting structural design!
Excellent shots Bob, I think Mrs A and myself could do with a cruise.

djtravels.....it holds 2100 thus making it a mid-size ship. Bob

Thanks FrodoBaggins.....for checking out these pictures from "A Day at Sea....". I find it fun to attempt capturing some of the design work that goes into whatever cruise ship we happen to be aboard. I'm ready for another one!!!Bob :D
