I am looking to upgrade my camera. I am currently using a canon XSI and am considering the Canon 7D. Has any of you had experience with the 7D? Do you think this would be a positive Upgrade?

Yes ......I have been using mine for about a year and love it.....the placement of the controls and features are very well thought out.

I love my 7d. It is an awesome camera, especially for sports and action shots. Team it up with a 70-200mm, F2.8 and go for it! You will love the results. The video is great too!

Canon EOS 7D is a Positive upgrade for the XSI. I love my 7D and know that I will be shooting with it for some time to come.

My wife and I each upgraded from 40Ds to 7Ds and we both like the 7D immensely. Many, though, including us, find/found that the 7D has a bit of a steeper learning curve than the Rebel or earlier double-digit Ds. Worth the effort though.

I also upgraded to a 7D from a 40D. Then invested in a 24-105mm L lens. Couldn't be happier with my choice.

Updated from original Rebel to the 7D. Love it even though I still am learning how to fully utilize it.

It is smarter than I am! It is fast continuous shooting and I love using it for my grandkids who are fast too. It continues to have Auto, so my family can pick it up and use it as well.
