Previous Thread about Lightroom Alternative on Mac?

A few days ago, someone created a thread regarding an alternative to Lightroom for use on a Mac. I have used Search and Google to try to find the thread; I have even searched Links and Resources on the chance that it was moved. All I can remember is that the interface was similar to LR, but the program only cost $50, with a 30 day free trial. Does anyone remember the thread and/or the alternate program? I would appreciate information about either. Thank you.

I think I was Emulsion or Affinity Pro. Both are $50 and have free trials
