This is what we find when we travel and talk to people around the world. I've expressed this in a few threads, but, of course, there are those who refuse to accept that. Guess who.

Even the Russian and Chinese people like us.

The fanatical ISIS types, Iranian government, anarchists and L*****ts h**e us, that includes the UHH l*****t wing nuts.

I, like you, have found that when talking to people on vacation, they like the US. Though we are very backward in social issues, this article supports that we are liked by other countries. People on UHH question the love of guns, something they find especially difficult to understand but overall a positive view of the US and of the President.

Thank you for posting the article.

Too bad you didn't view the other video that show where we stand in gun violence in the world.

Proves what BO says as usual is a lie.

Here, like countries with strict gun control, both have a criminal element problem.

Thugs, disgruntled victims, the greedy and takers.

Not sure what you mean by BO lying, but certainly gun violence is a problem here....but the point of this thread is that generally people around the world do respect and like us...and want to like us more, but they do have a real problem understanding our gun problem, our health care system ( how can people go bankrupt over getting sick in a great country like the US?), and our crazy political system where our congress is more concerned with their own careers than with the people.

My opinion of European opinion of the US is summed up brilliantly by Paddy Chayefsky in "The Americanization of Emily." He has Charlie Madison say:

"I've dealt with Europeans all my life. I know all about us parvenus from the States who come over here and race around your old cathedral towns with our cameras and Coca-Cola bottles... Brawl in your pubs, paw your women, and act like we own the world. We over-tip. We talk too loud. We think we can buy anything with a Hershey bar.

I've had Germans and Italians tell me how politically ingenuous we are. And perhaps so. But we haven't managed a Hitler or Mussolini yet. I've had Frenchmen call me a savage because I only took half an hour for lunch. Hell, Miss Barham, the only reason the French take two hours for lunch is because the service in their restaurants is lousy. The most tedious lot are you British. We crass Americans didn't introduce war into your little island. This war, Miss Barham, to which we Americans are so insensitive, is the result of 2,000 years of European greed, barbarism, superstition, and stupidity. Don't blame it on our Coca-Cola bottles. Europe was a going brothel long before we came to town."

This is still the last best place on earth in spite of Obama as evidenced by the many people sneaking in here for various reasons, more so for the welfare furnished by those still able to produce. Israel disrespects Obama because Obama disrespects them. India loves Obama because of foreign aid and the exportation of jobs to their country which will escalate with the Obama/Boehner trader, I mean trade bill.
You don't make the best place in the world better by cutting it down to the same size as s**t holes around the world.
The one thing that allows us to stand apart and taller is the Constitution of the United States and that is Obama's biggest hurdle.

If you have a problem with the Constitution you can move anywhere else in the world and you can avoid having to deal with it. BTW, you forgot to bash Christians along with the guns neither of which has anything to do with this post.

I think we need to stop worrying about what the rest of the world thinks of us. Despite what Donna thinks about us backward Americans I think we are the most generous and gracious nation on earth. So you don't like us? Fine next you are faced with a national emergency or a natural disaster, or some kind of epidemic, or an invasion call someone else. I'm sick and tired of people pissing on America and then Americans like Donna agreeing with them, if you think America is so bad just leave.

He is the Liar in Chief.
2.) In his own words he implied that the Us is a shameful murderous place. Other countries are much worse and have more restrictive gun laws.
i.e. A guy from AZ, got stopped at the border and they found one, yes one, 22 cal bullet, no gun. He spent 6 months in a Mexican jail. 99.9% of all stolen weapons wind up in Mexico

3.) The problem is the criminal, not the method.

4.) SC was a tragedy and no one can say it wasn't.

5.) in May over 40 people in Baltimore were murdered, executed by thugs. All ages, both sexes, all black.

6.) Any arrests? Hell no. The DA and mayor are simply r****ts.

7.) To them, " black lives don't matter", plain and simple.

8.) tThey figure those remaining will still v**e them in because they are black, talk about r****t!

We don't have a "gun" problem. We have a "PC" problem. And Obama is chairman of the board.
