Nice shot Alicia2.
You are really organized.
The first thing I noticed was the brush.
I have a badger shaving brush that looks similar.
I'm sure that's the neck brush though.
Old school shaving is the bomb.
I have a 1957 double edge shaver just like My father used.
Anyway, its fun to see your work location and how much you love what you do.. that's key. Lucky customer
that gets a Barber like you. Thanks for sharing.

How many stories does this photo touch? Nicely done.

Brings me back to my grandfather, who became a barber after farming in Spade, Texas. The shop was next to his house.
I can remember the smell of the cologne and a can of Crew hair goop.
Man of few words but he had a sense of humor.
Thanks for posting!
I understand how you feel, been at it for forty years I am retiring after this year,it has been a great run.
Been going to my Barber for 51 years, don't know what I'll do when he retires. Not many left in the trade, all hair stylists now. Just took my Grandson in, first time for a barber. He said he enjoyed the ribbing and BS as much as the haircut. Good Luck on your retirement. We expect more pictures then.
Very nice composition. Very evocative of summer. I go to a barber not a stylist. Love the place. "How you doing?" "Good." "What do you want today?" "Buzz number four." "OK my man." Same conversation despite getting a buzz four for three years. Two more weeks and it will be time for a visit.
Interesting and creative. I like how ordered it all feels :)
It is interesting to note that your tool set has no "digital" items.
I like that!
Used to have good conversations, now everyone just about are on cell phones or tablets, they don't even read the 3year old magazines
