Driving from New Hampshire to Seattle Washington, any suggestions on some sight seein? Only have 5days, so not much time to detour.
What route will you take?

Well, since the purple GARMIN line will either go west on I 90 I 80 to I 84 to I 82 to I 90: or I 90 to I 80 to I 90 to I 39 to I 90: or I 90 to I 80 to I 94 to I 39 to I 94 The mix master being Chicago, as there are 5 different routes to Seattle from there that can be traveled. More information is needed.

Yellowstone and Grand Teton National parks are a short diversion off 90.

90 is shorter to Seattle. Northern Idaho is nicer than the part of Utah 80 will take you through.

Then, as your flying by the seat of your pants, why not just turn on the photo op option in your Garmin and pick and choose from that?

If you have an iPhone, you can download an app called Shoot Local. It's based on your GPS. It may be available for other smart phones.
If you do a search in your App Store, you should be able to get that or similar apps.

Like the idea but when I searched "Shoot local" on my iphone I got a long list of local news sources for newpapers & radio stations in various cities.
Field Trip is a google app that cannot be overlooked
Glacier National Park inMontanna is quite photgenic.
Safe travels whatever your route.

I'm jealous. I-90 is better that I-80. Or-- route yourself to pass through either Glacier national park in Montana, and/or the Grand Tetons in Wyoming, CoeurD'Alene, Idaho, Grand Coulee Dam, Washington. If possible stretch your trip by a couple of days.

Five days????
Yikes.
A lot of what you'll see is the shimmering highway stretched out in front of you.
If there's any way you can stretch that time out--there's so much to seen along the way.
