thanks for your service. it took me awhile to catch on what your signature line meant. you dont need to invent a time machine you just need plenty of money and hollywood connections just like hugh hefner.
So nava writz- where do #2 and #3 hail from? What kind of camera are you using? Nice stuff!
Dandy pictures, but can you back off a bit to fill frame the same at 100mm or a bit more (35mm equiv.) to give the girl's noses a break?

nice pics, i like the first pic the best. I Know you said all you did was tell them there pretty and asked to photograph them. That might work for you but if a guy does it (like me) probally get pepper sprayed!!lol
You forgot to include you own image among the "pretty girls".

#2 came from the flea market on melrose she was trying the hat and i asked to taker her image.
#3 was fun one as i seen her walking on fairfax ave with her dog and she was sure i wanted to take the image of her dog well after few click she found out i was not really into her dog. smiling
Nava,
I think your original image #1 looks much nicer. The 'enhanced' image goes quite a bit too far. The sharpness of her hair is lost with the glow and saturation that was added to the image. I look an an image and do not want to see the enhancements being so obvious. If they were turned down a couple notches, they may be ok, but your original image was very nicely done. If you could have obtained a slight more bokeh, it would have been an even greater image. She was a very pretty subject. Nice lighting too.
Watch all the shadows under the eyes, etc., as this helps to ruin a shot. A large white reflector really helps control this IF you have a helper. If not, a light flash will usually work.
Excellent choices of models, and the facial shots are very good!

Nava, I like your version of number one. The reworked one took all the color out. The face of the woman now looks like she sick or depressed.
Great shots! Thanks for sharing them.
