Canon flash attach knob too tight

Good luck. It is a good flash and Canon flashes seem to last forever. I still have working Speedlites 199A and 177A from the late 1970s and 300TL from the mid 1980s. All work well with Yongnuo triggers.

I hope the "surgery" is successful. Take care and be gentle with it!

If all else fails, just clamp the camera to the bench and turn the flash - doesn't matter which direction. With enough pressure, it'll come right off! :lol:

That sounds advising someone to get their head put in a woodworking vice and getting four strong friends to turn their body through 720 degrees. You first!

It took wrapping the device with protective material and a BIG set of pliers.....MORE than Gentle force but a successful result! I now have a separate camera and flash. and no damage! WOW. :D :thumbup:
