Did you shoot through glass or were you overhead?

Nice composition but seems a little out of focus and there is color noise from the high iso.

Iso was set at 400 , due to low light in room with the fish tanks.
used a nikon 18-200mm vr lens.

Took a class on use of flash and was told that the best way to shoot fish in an aquarium was to shoot with your flash over the top of the tank. Don't know if this was possible where you were shooting but it may be a tip for the future---would eliminate the noise. Keep on shooting.............

A point n shoot in Macro mode right up against the glass is the way to do it

From a distance your lens may focus on the glass, which is what yours did.
