They are so pretty.
I had the vine and it took 10 years before it bloomed.
Love the wisteria. They are beautiful when in bloom and that is one full tree. Thanks

Yikes! I have had one for 8 years now and I anxiously wait each spring to see if it will bloom. Nothing again this year
:-( It is very big and way up a tree but no blooms. I know they take a long time to bloom but 10 years?! These were taken along a roadside.

i lived in Wisconsin at the time, and it would send out runners 25-30 ft long. Can't have runners all over the lawn, so i cut them back and made the vine wreaths from them .. Load and behold on the 10year after having giving up on it ever blooming, there it put forth 3,10-12 inch blooms.
and each year as it grew larger - more blooms would appear.
I left Wisconsin in 04, and i truly hope the party that bought my house, knew what it was. Another keeper was the Mock Orange. That smelled so sweet.
Well done. Like the colors.

My wisteria.
No bloomes this side.
Some blooms this side, not many.
Still no blooms.
How old is this vine Hal81. I understand it takes them at least 7 years to bloom. I have a huge one that is about 8 years old and not a bloom in site. The pictures I took I got from the road side.

Take all of your old coffee grounds and start to pour them out at the base of the roots. then work them into the soil.
i did this with the mock orange, rhoddies and also the Wisteria plant.
