Google uses sub compacts for fuel economy. Since the folks you saw were riding in an unmarked SUV, I bet they were from the government. somehow you've got their attention Jerry

I hope you weren't out in your underwear collecting the newspaper.
Jerry, I saw this one last summer in Palm Desert, Ca. Not Google, but unusual at least.

I never wear underwear when I go to get the mail - too confining. I prefer to feel the sun and wind on my skin. :D

When we made the drive from California to Minnesota, we were seeing Google cars every few minutes as we drove through Arizona and maybe into New Mexico.
It got to be a big joke as I would yell out "Google Car! Google Car!" each time.
We ended up stopping in the same lot with one of them and I offered the kids $5 each if they would surround the guy and start asking non-stop questions
Sadly, no one would do it.

I stand corrected. That doesn't sound like the kind of behavior our government would be concerned with at all! Maybe it was a Google car after all

This is a picture from Google maps, street view. About 7:30 am March 2014. I had just closed the gate, my wife and I on our way to breakfast. We live at the end of a dead road. It was taken by a painted-up Google car.
