Done it. Easy update for all versions. Takes about 5 minutes.

As time goes on, I see more and more instruction for PS CC and less and less for PS CS6. Still, I'll stick with what I have for the foreseeable future.

Done mine.
The presets for Lightroom transfered with the update.
For Photoshop filters I had to go to Windows>Program Files>Adobe>Adobe Photoshop CC 2014>Plug-ins. Copy the files & paste to 2015 Plug-ins. Worked: no problems.
GAAAAHHHHHH! I wish they would bring over all the filters that worked in the previous version. I still have to manually copy the plugins folder from the old location to the new location, even re-installing some of them.

THANK YOU!
I was almost at the point of giving in and subscribing to CC (Have CS6) since there have been some interesting updates since it was introduced. But if I might have to re-install
anything it's not temping me.
Thank you!! I wasn't even aware that I hadn't updated ACR in PS since 8.0. I'm up to speed now, thanks to your post.
The new de-haze tool is gonna be great!!

No issues with LR or PS here - everything worked just like it did yesterday with no issues. Dehaze is pretty good, maybe better than DXO, but not as good as On1.
One small problem: Installed the CC 2015 photography suite over an existing CC install (Mac OS X Yosemite on Xserve) and the PS subscription was no longer recognized. LR showed as up to date. PS reverted to a "try & buy" status. Had to rename the active hosts file and force the CC desktop program to recreate a new hosts file at reboot. Once the hosts file was recreated and the CC application did a registration server check and authentication both PS and LR were recognized as paid subscription programs. So, if anyone else encounters this issue use the "go" drop down menu in Finder; select: "go to folder"; enter: "/etc"; scroll down to the "hosts" folder; rename the folder "hosts1" and then reboot to force the CC app to re authenticate the paid subscription programs which creates a new and working "hosts" folder/file

Wow, that's a pain. Took only 5 mins to download, unpack and install LR and PS on my Win7 machine. I would have expected a similar experience, if not better, on a Mac.
I really had to laugh over this update. It was either that or cuss out my cats!
I read the initial information as to what this update provided. For me, it peaked my interest because it included a Canon 70D profile... so, off to update land I went.
What a surprise to find out that both LR and PS updates were so major, they had to be uninstalled first!
What a surprise to find out afterwards that my RAW images could no longer be previewed! I resolved that but then got to thinking... IF flushing cache is all I needed to do, why don't these programs flush their cache when you close the program(s)?
After updating LR/PS/Bridge, I then find the same issues others are complaining about... what happened to all my plug-ins? I just bought and installed the NIK collection and "had" some Topaz plug-ins. Now, I have to reinstall those too?!
Sometimes, $9.99/month (plus tax) seems like a bargain and other times it makes you wonder. And you know... Adobe couldn't care less!

If you read the details, it was clearly stated that 3rd party plugins would not by migrated, and that it would uninstall 2014. No surprise unless you just installed it without checking first.
"Install Photoshop CC (2015)
VERY IMPORTANT By default, when you install Photoshop CC (2015):
It will uninstall prior versions of Photoshop you have installed
It will migrate your presets, preferences and any compatible Add-Ons
It will not migrate 3rd party plug-inshttp://blogs.adobe.com/photoshopdotcom/2015/06/adobe-launches-the-2015-release-of-photoshop-cc.html
