Playing with homemade flash

Made a homemade flash diffuser and have been trying it out.

What do you have across the "lens" of speedlight extension? Clear, slightly diffuse, or translucent white?

Right now using the lid that was on the Pringles can that it is made of scuffed it up with sandpaper so guess you could say slightly diffused have been trying different things to try to find out what works the best.

Yours is a tad fancier than my "Dart" diffuser. :) It looks like it works pretty good.

Just a Pringles can and a little duct tape LOL

Bad thing is I have a ring flash that came on my lens but I love to tinker and make things for myself.

Close lid onto tube, sandwiching white paper towel, then trim-off excess paper. This will further diffuse light, reducing noticeable shadows.
