Can anyone tell what program if any, or filters if any, were used to produce this pic. Most of you seem to be pretty sharp, I'm very new but I want to see if photographers can look at a picture and Identify how it was produced. Just wondering.
Thanks

Looks like a longer exposure shot with about an 8mm lens. Either the lens had pretty bad distortion or the room corners are not at 90 degrees. It may have some HDR effect added but there are still a lot of shadows present so I doubt it was used.

Long exposure, Yes, 8mm Yes, Room agnles were correct but camera was not level. I have found when using a wide angle lens that I need to shoot more square into the object instead form a side angle like this one. Also photomatrix was used.
Thanks for your response and great observation.

Then why do you have the overwhelming desire to spew such idiotic posts.
If you have nothing to contribute to the thread, then don't.

The ultra wide angle lenses will always exagerate any angles that are off. A little practice will take care of that. Nice that you didn't go overboard with the HDR like so many try to do. The HDR effect here is well done. Always best when it is close to imperceptible.
Oh, and just ignore the wise-a$$ remarks from some who cannot commit to being an asset to the forum.

I didn't realize I would be offending people. I guess I will learn to identify what is and is not appropriate for this forum. I joined this forum to try and learn a little bit about photography and about some of the people that enjoy this as hobby or professionally. I suppose I do not have a whole lot to contribute at this point so I will limt
my comments as I try and figure out what everyone finds offensive or acceptable
Have a good day

I attached a Picture I took of a clients house. This was taken in a RAW format and converted to Jepg by photomatrix pro.
Are pictures like this possible without photomatrix by using a really expensive camera?

No lens alone will get you the light on the near side of that palm like the HDR effect will do, that is what it is made for. Longer exposure will help in most cases, but here you can see your sidewalk is almost blown out the way it is so a longer exposure, without very creative ND effect, will not add much to this image.

I have found this post interesting. I would actually like to see more like this. How was this taken questions. It would push me to really look at a photo to figure out what was used to get the effect or desired look.
