In Maine that comment on sunrise could spark an argument. Eastport claims to be the first town to see sunlight. The folks in Lubec claim that they are first, and that the nearby West Quoddy Head State Park and Lighthouse is the first spot to get sunlight. And then others claim that the top of Cadillac Mountain at Acadia is the first spot to see sunlight. I am not sure the question has been answered to everyone's satisfaction at this point!

I don't know for sure but was told it was Cadillac Mountain. It may change depending on the seasons.
