New Lenses

Just got a new lenses for the 7D. EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 L is USM and wanted to get up and personal to check the so called macro feature. Any comments other than a poor choice of the block wall in the back ground and missing the edge of the lower petal?

I have a 70-300 macro lens also and love it! Pictures are so clear and crisp. Welcome to the Hog.

Nice shot. Love those kind of flowers (don't know if it's a day lilly or not. Here's one from my front yard last summer with my Nikon D40. Good luck with the lens
