Hi, Its a great price. Can I ask why you are selling such a nice combination?
If I didn't already have the lens, I've been looking for a D700...hummm.

Getting old and, do not do as much shooting as I use too. Have been using Fuji's for a little while now and they handle pretty much what I need.
How about $750 for the camera body alone ?
Sorry, thats too low a price for a D700 with under 20K actuations

I have an interest in the lens only. What would you ask for that?
How would you rate the quality of the lens???
Lens is in excellent condition, but I don't wish to separate the two!!
I have been looking for the 24-70 mm and would love the camera body as well. Wasn't planning on a purchase like this, but am very interested. I will need to get my head wrapped around how to squeeze this into my budget. What condition would you place on the lens and body; excellent, good, fair, really well loved?

This particular camera has a little under 20K actuations has always had protection on the LCD screen and is in very good condition, the lens is also in great condition with this purchase I will include any DVD's I have regarding the operation of the camera, definitely well loved.
Good luck to you and someone will enjoy your camera and lens. (Yep, we are all getting old)

I have other lenses 70-200 VRII 2.8 and a 105 VR 105 2.8 but not untill I know the others are sold and I know I will not need them for the D700.
