A Blue Heron seems comfortable with us nearby

We took a ride up to a sanctuary in Viera, Florida. The main roads were closed but the ponds were open to visitors.

The Heron was not so comfortable, it flew off, right off the WEB. ;-)

Heheh, brings to mind a little story. A friend of mine had a pool in his backyard. He was so proud of that pool, filled with Koy. In fact he used to take some of them and drop them off in a local lake where they also thrived. Along comes this Blue Heron who had quite the feast. Result was 1 fish left, out of many. Closing the door in the after sense, he purchased a net.
