I created this back in January.
I would like to know what you like or don't like about this photo.
It was a beautiful sunset that night and this was just the beginning.
What would you have done differently in the edited version?
I appreciate all feedback! It's how we learn!

HI there; first, what is the subject? The lifeguard tower or the couple in the hammock? Horizon is slightly tilting down to the right. The image is too centered. I would've left the feet hanging over the edge. Pretty good job of cleaning up the image and getting rid of paper and other objects. You could've done some pp on the sky as well. Sort of lackluster. The foreground is a little dark, maybe do some dodging and burning. Lastly, I might try a lower angle; lie on the ground and shoot up at the couple. Anyway, I don't usually comment, but you asked. I hope this helps as I'm just trying to be helpful. Good luck and keep shooting...

Scootersurfs,

Thank you for the feedback. Actually I was just walking by and saw them sitting in the hammock and thought it looked like pure relaxation. I will definitely remember your suggestions. I'm still learning editing so that is definitely a work in progress.

Look up the rule of thirds, leading lines etc. That will help you see the overall image better. I like your idea, which is a large part of photography....seeing an image that others don't see or react to. It's a work in progress. Look at some of my posts if you want. You will get a better idea of what I'm talking about. Also, YouTube is a great resource for free tips/tutorials on everything photoshop, lightroom, photography, video etc.
