Attended the high school graduation of a friend's daughter and, while waiting for the ceremonies to begin, began looking at the windows with the sunlight behind them. This building was built in 1929 and has these gorgeous old windows (5 to a side) in the auditorium.
Photo was taken as a .jpg since I had reset my camera and forgotten to put it back to RAW then post-processed to include straightening and a saturation increase. Applied a very, VERY light HDR effect to it as well.
C&C always welcomed.

Thanks! I was there to photograph the graduate but just couldn't pass this one up ... really like that old glass and the window itself.
Appreciate it!

Beautiful whorls and swirls, subtle color and I assure you, I'd have tried to capture it too, although probably not as well as you did in this image. Well done!
Thanks Bob ... as I said to Didereaux above that glass is just marvelous ... original as far as I can determine from when the building was constructed in 1929.
Appreciate the comments!!!

Entirely my pleasure (I think some folks in the audience thought the old guy with the camera had gone 'round the bend  ). Appreciate you looking and your comments - have a great day!
