Hi, I came to see.I have been around or in front of cameras most of my life but never paid attention to the technical stuff so I can't help you there, I have just started learning everything too and any critique is just my own thought.
Frontier Park: I love the softness of the flowers! If I wanted to have the river behind the sign I would have stepped back a little and shot the sign at more of an angle. If it was about the sign and flowers, then I would have tried changing positions to line up the pillar and light post with the lines in the wooden planks of the park sign and hide the people behind a peak. Interesting subject.
Potted plant: Nice colors and elements to work with. I like the line in the bricks. Maybe try shooting from a little lower to get more of the foliage and some of the texture of the planter itself. That would make the flowers /planter your center of attention and cut out the dead space above. Since you are featuring only the planter and the brickwork I would walk around the whole planter and see how the line looks from different angles. Your different heights of plants will show off more from a lower angle too.
Silver leaves: 3:15 am? Your a night owl just like me lol. Was it dark? Is there ice on the tree? Did you shoot in B&W or do it in post? I am
intrigued, sparking interest must be a good thing. I would crop out as much of the parking lot and vehicles as possible if that was my only choice of position. Otherwise I would have checked out other composition options.
Ok, now I see why nobody critiques, it's scary. I keep thinking, "could that be taken wrong?"
Sometimes for fun I see how many different shots I can get out of one interesting subject by just moving around and looking through the lens.
Keep shooting :)

I can see some of the issues that I have had in the past with signs in your image.

Your camera was not at the level of the sign so you get a railroad track effect (narrower at the bottom than the top in this case). I have attempted to correct this so you can see the impact.

Your camera was not directly in front of the sign so there is a slight rotational distortion that I did not attempt to correct.

I cropped the image so I would be able to use it as an introductory image in a slide show or collection of images.

I agree that a lower angle on the flowers would have been better and taken the image from a snapshot to a more professional image.

Do not understand the subject of the black and white, sometimes things just go over my head.

Hope this helps.

Most are shot too tight....zoom out or stand back a little... leave yourself some room to edit evenly...(lose the time and date stamp) pitch the third one... number two line yourself up evenly with the bricks, or straighten them in post editing.( you don't want people having to work to look at them (turning their head) etc....

The silver tree was taken in the only position that was available at the time....I also changed it from color to b and w, just to see what it would look like! Curiosity kills the cat! lol
